Tea tree oil (melaleuca oil, if you want to get scientific) is derived from the leaves of the Australian tea tree plant. It’s known for its odor eliminating, air purifying, and cleaning properties.

Each ounce of gel covers approximately 100 square feet for 60 to 90 days. That means you’d need 12 ounces of gel to cover the average two-bedroom apartment (in America, that’s 1,200 square feet). Our 24 ounce gel refill pouch covers 2,400 square feet—the average size of a single-family home.

Each Luxe Glass jar holds up to eight ounces of gel—enough to cover 800 square feet for 60 to 90 days. Whether you fill the jar fully or halfway is personal preference; some customers prefer to fill halfway for lighter use, while others use all eight ounces for areas with high traffic or heavy odors.

As Azuna works to neutralize odors in the air, the gel will change in appearance depending on the environment. In some spaces it may become a bit watery or translucent, while in others it may turn slightly amber or yellow.

These changes are simply a result of how the gel interacts with the air in that particular space, so it can behave a little differently even from room to room. The good news is that it’s still working just as effectively.

Our glass bottle's two-way nozzle is designed for both uses. Set to "mist" for a superfine spray perfect for on-demand odor neutralization. Twist to "stream" for a more direct surface cleaner application. The nozzle is marked with embossed pictures of both settings.

Our cleaning spray works well on most common household surfaces, including countertops, tile, laminate, glass, sealed wood, stovetops, and kitchen and bathroom fixtures. For delicate natural stone or similarly fragile surfaces, we recommend an inconspicuous spot test first.

The spray is also effective at neutralizing smells on soft surfaces like fabric and upholstery.

Most conventional multi-surface cleaners rely on harsh disinfectants, strong chemicals, and heavy, perfume-like fragrances. That kills surface germs effectively, but often leaves behind strong scents and residues that aren't ideal on high-touch surfaces. Azuna uses a natural tea tree oil-based formula to neutralize odors and, when paired with a paper towel or microfiber cloth, clean dirt and grime.
